Writing Nalani: what to watch for
At 6 letters, Nalani takes a little more stamina. If your child tires halfway, cover the second half of the row and let them write it in two sittings — finishing well beats finishing fast.
The capital N is built from straight lines, so it's one of the easier capitals to start with — a ruler-straight pull down from the top line, then the joining strokes.
Watch the tall letters — l reaches all the way up to the top line, not just to the dashed middle line. Short ascenders are the most common thing to correct at this age.
