Watch the tall letters — h and l reach all the way up to the top line, not just to the dashed middle line. Short ascenders are the most common thing to correct at this age.
p hangs below the baseline — the tail drops under the line rather than sitting on it. The dotted rows on this sheet show exactly how far down to go.
Expect the odd flip with p. Reversing b/d and p/q is completely normal well into age six or seven and is not a warning sign — tracing the correct shape repeatedly is exactly how it resolves.
